A two-month long training course begins at National University of Technology, Islamabad for graduates of Rekodiq mining company.

According to a report on Tuesday, after the completion of this course, the graduates will undergo 18-month on-job training at Barricks International Mines, Argentina.

They will be taught mining and related technical sciences and will be trained in geology, exploration, safety and environmental protection.

These graduates from Balochistan have been selected under Barrick’s International Graduate Development Program, 2024.

Last year also, nine graduates from Balochistan were selected and sent for on-job training at Barricks mining site in Argentina.
