SRINAGAR: Two Indian army soldiers were critically injured in an attack in Bandipora district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
According to a KMS report, the Indian troops were injured in the attack during a cordon and search operation in Ranji area of the district.
A top police officer confirmed that two Indian army soldiers were injured during initial exchange of fire with what he claimed hiding militants. The search operation is going on in the area till last reports came in.
