QUETTA: Two men were shot dead by unidentified gunmen near Maychuki area in district Naseerabad of Balochistan province on Friday.

According to police, two men, identified as Wali Muhammad and Qutb-ud-Din, were gunned down by unidentified armed men near Maychuki area Dera Murad Jamali in district Naseerabad. The bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Dera Murad Jamali and later handed over to the heirs after fulfilling necessary medico-legal formalities. The incident has created a mourning atmosphere in the victims’ homes. Further investigation was being conducted by the concerned authorities.

Meanwhile, one person was killed and eight others injured due to collision of two vehicles in Jalugir area of Quetta on Friday.

According to rescue sources, two vehicles collided in Jalugir area of Quetta, resultantly, one man namely Akmal died and eight others were injured. The injured were identified as Aminullah, Sudais Khan, Rehan Khan, Naveed Khan, Muhammad Hanif, Shakeel, Mehmood and Mudyan Khan.

The body and injured were taken to Sandeman Provincial Hospital, Quetta for completion of codal formalities and treatment, respectively. The body was handed over to the heirs after completing necessary medico-legal formalities while the injured were being treated.
