Turkish president rules out backing Sweden joining NATO unless it ends attacks on Quran

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has refused to support Sweden for joining NATO as long as it permits desecration of the Holy Quran.

In a statement, he said we closely follow developments regarding NATO’s enlargement process.

The Turkish President said that our stance on Finland’s joining NATO is positive, but not on Sweden.
