The General Secretary of Pakistan Muslim League Functional Sindh and the Secretary of Information for the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA), Sardar Abdul Rahim, issued a special message on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam-e-Inqilab Hazrat Pir Syed Sibghatullah Shah II, popularly known as Shaheed Surhiya Badshah.
He stated that Shaheed Surhiya Badshah was executed at the age of 32 for his relentless struggle for the freedom of his people and land. Despite the oppression of the British, Surhiya Badshah did not bow down and embraced martyrdom with a cheerful heart.
Sardar Abdul Rahim mentioned that the sacrifices of Shaheed Surhiya Badshah and thousands of Hurs led to the liberation of Pakistan. The jihad initiated under his leadership compelled the British imperialists to flee the region.
He further stated that even today, the Mujahideen of the Hur community are safeguarding the borders, ensuring that the nation’s boundaries remain in safe hands. Sardar Abdul Rahim pledged to continue the struggle until the mission of Shaheed Surhiya Badshah is accomplished.
