PESHAWAR: A delegation comprising leaders and scholars of the North Waziristan tribal district of Madakhel met with Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman on Tuesday at Governor House Peshawar and discussed various issues.
The delegation also apprised the Governor about some of the issues facing the people of the area including regional issues and grievances. The Governor assured full cooperation to the tribal people for resolving the issues facing them. A difficult time has been spent in the war against it. After the integration, the era of development and prosperity of the amalgamated districts has begun and special attention is being paid to the development of these areas and alleviation of the deprivations of the tribal people.
The delegation included Maulana Yousuf Shah, Mufti Zafar Zaman, Maulana Abdul Hai Haqqani, Abdul Salam Khan, Blander Khan, Rabnawaz Khan, Mir Janat Khan, Aslam Khan, Gul Rafi Jan, Zal Noor Khan and others of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam.
