District Information Officer Naushahro Feroze, Qamar-uz-Zaman Bhambhro, met Chairman District Council Naushahro Feroze, Sohail Akhtar Abbasi, in his office.

Elected representatives of various union councils also met the chairman and apprised him of the problems of their respective areas.

The chairman stressed better reporting of the diverse development initiatives of the district council in collaboration with the information department.

He indicated that a budget session would be convened soon after Muharram-ul-Haram, which would include development programs to help the poor residents of the area.

He also announced the launch of a tree planting campaign to combat climate change, involving all UC chairmen of the District Council.
