Traffic jam was seen on different roads of Quetta on Monday due to a protest sitin staged outside the office of Commissioner Quetta division by the family members of two Baloch students against the enforced disappearance of Baloch students Shahak Baloch and Farooq Baloch. Traffic jam created problems for the citizens, particularly for students.

According to detail, relatives of the missing students Shahak Baloch and Farooq Baloch took out protest rally from Quetta Press Club. Participants of rally marched through Adalat Road, Taxi stand, Anscomb Road and staged a protest sitin outside the office of Commissioner Quetta Division, demanding the authorities to ensure the safe recovery of two missing Baloch students.

Talking to media, leader of Baloch Yekjehti Committee, Bebrak Baloch said that two Baloch students Shahak Baloch and Farooq Baloch were disappeared from Quetta On May 28, 2024, but since then nothing is known about the whereabouts of missing Baloch students. He said that relatives of the missing Baloch students approached the concerned police authorities for lodging FIR of the incident, but police were reluctant to lodge FIR due to unknown reasons. Protest sitin continued till filing this report.
