Sheikhupura: Police on Sunday intercepted a car at a police picket and recovered latest weapons from the three men sitting in the vehicle near a polling station in Sheikhupura.

The police registered an FIR against the three accused and took them into custody. DPO Sheikhupura Faisal Mukhtar said that three people had been arrested for carrying latest weapons despite a complete ban on the show of weapons on the polling day (today). The police officer said violators would be dealt with full force of the law.
