JHELUM:Three prominent leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, including Barrister Saifullah Niazi, Fayyaz-ul Hasan Chohan and Ali Muhammad Khan, have been shifted to District Jail, Jhelum, police said Wednesday.

The PTI trio was brought to the Jhelum Jail amid strict security cordon. The authorities have shifted the PTI leaders to Jhelum prison facility from Adiala Jail due to security fears. They were arrested under Section 3 of Maintenance of Public Order. According to sources, the trio has been kept in the security cell of the jail facility.

Yesterday, former human rights minister and PTI leader Shireen Mazari and Falak Naz were rearrested moments after being released from Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail on the orders of Islamabad High Court. The federal capital police arrested them from outside the jail, Mazari’s daughter Imaan Zainab Mazari-Hazir said in a statement.
