SHIKARPUR: Three people, including father and his son, were killed in a road accident on Shikarpur-Larkana section of Indus Highway near Wakkrro village in the jurisdiction of Garhiyaseen police station near Shikarpur on Monday evening.

According to a report, the accident occurred between a between Suzuki van and a motorcycle Suzuki and Motorcycle near Garhiyaseen in district Shikarpur. As a result, three motorcyclists identified as Nadir Mahar, aged 40 and his minor son Farman Ali, aged 7 and his relative Nawab Mahar, aged 35, all residents of Bambhihar, Garhiyaseen died on the spot.

The van driver fleed the scene, leaving his vehicle there. Their bodies were shifted to Government Hospital Garhiyaseen for medico-legal formalities. Police have impounded the Suzuki van and started search for the fleeing driver. No FIR was registered till late evening. A mourning atmosphere prevailed in the victims’ houses.
