Three persons were killed and 30 others injured when a Quetta-bound coach overturned near Lakpass area of district Mastung on Tuesday.
According to rescue sources, over-speeding Quetta-bound passenger coach coming from Karachi turned turtle near Lakpass area, resultantly, three persons, including a child, died while 30 others sustained injuries. The bodies and injured were shifted to local hospitals.
Deceased were identified as Tauqeer, 12, Danial, son of Bihar Ali, resident of Behria Town. The injured included Sohail Ahmed son of Qaim Khan Mengal, Touqeer Ahmed son of Toufeeq Ahmed, Syeda Bibi wife of Syed Nasir, resident of Brewry Quetta, Husna daughter of Karim Bakhsh, resident of Awami Pump, Faiz Khan son of Khan Zaman, resident of Kan Mehterzai, Bismillah son Ghulam Farooq, resident of Bypass Quetta, Amna daughter of Touseef, Nazeer Ahmed son of Riaz Ahmed, resident of Spiny Road, Naveed son of Ameer Bakhsh, Abdullah son Fida Hussain, resident of Kundkot, Muhammad Hanif son of Muhammad Aslam, resident of Awaran, Shahsawar son of Shabir Ahmed, resident of Awaran, Zuhra Bibi daughter of Zahid Hussain, resident of Karachi, Muhammad Hussain son of Noor Muhammad, resident of Quetta, Muhammad Ayub, resident of Turbat, Salam son of Ghulam Farooq, Rehman Iqbal son of Muhammad Iqbal, resident of Balakot, Sultan son of Ghulam Farooq, Zahid Abbas, resident of Muzafarabad and Asghar Ali son of Muhammad Yousaf, resident of Karachi.
