The Allied Health Sciences Expo 2024 was inaugurated at Azad Jammu and Kashmir University with the support of the Pakistan Army. The event, organized by the Department of Health Sciences, attracted a large number of students, teachers, and doctors interested in exploring advancements in health sciences.
According to a statement on Sunday, students described the expo as an informative and inspiring experience, while faculty members emphasized the importance of regularly hosting such activities. Speaking at the event, participants expressed their gratitude to the Pakistan Army for supporting this initiative, which they said provided invaluable learning opportunities.
‘We are showcasing our traditions and culture, which have been somewhat forgotten. This expo is a platform to revive and highlight them,’ remarked one student. Participants also noted that students from other universities presented their projects, creating an environment for mutual learning and collaboration.
The students further emphasized the expo’s role in raising awareness among youth about the numerous career opportunities available within Pakistan. ‘The Pakistan Army’s interest in promoting positive activities in Kashmir is truly encouraging and boosts our morale,’ they added.
The event highlighted the collaborative effort to foster education, innovation, and cultural appreciation within the region.
