Madeji: Police have claimed to have recovered three persons on Wednesday who were kidnapped 12 days ago amid ongoing tribal feud between Kalhora and Junejo communities. Both communities live within the limits of Jhabar Shaikh police station limits in the riverine area.
According to details, 12 days ago armed men of Kalhora community had allegedly abducted Siraj Junejo and in revenge Junejo community armed men kidnapped two persons near Madeji Degree College including Shahid Kalhoro and 12-year boy Sajid Kalhoro. All the abductees were recovered by a police party led by SHO Nau Amrot police station Mir Hassan Bullo from the limits of Jamalpur police station.
They were brought to the office of DSP Madeji where the police officers told the media that with the efforts of the police all three kidnapped persons of both disputing communities have been recovered safely and they have been handed over to their relatives.
Captives Siraj Junejo, Shahid Kalhoro and little boy Sajid Kalhoro told the media that they were constantly under fear that they would be killed by their rivals. They said they are thankful to the police and notables of the area for taking the efforts and got us released. Rumours said that because of the sincere efforts of the area notables recovery of all three captives was made possible.
