Those blocking Quetta-Chaman highway will be booked: DC

CHAMAN: Deputy Commissioner, Chaman, Juma Dad Mandokhail has said that no one would be allowed to block Quetta-Chaman main highway for trivial issues.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, he said that if anyone had any problems, the issue should better be brought into the notice of district administration Chaman for addressing it rather than blocking the highways.

He said that closure of Quetta-Chaman highway caused hardships to elderly persons, patients, women and children. He said that a First Information Report would be lodged against those who resorted to such unlawful activities.

It is pertinent to mention that Quetta-Chaman National Highway was blocked for two days by the local tribes and workers of different political parties, demanding cancellation of notification whereby Jungle Pir Alizai has been declared as the headquarter of district Killa Abdullah.
