Kamber: A teenage girl was shot dead by her uncle in the pretext of honour in village Bangal Khan Mugheri within Police Station Kamber on Thursday.
According to police, an 18-year-old girl, Naseema Khatoon, was shot dead by her uncle Anwar Mugheri in the name of honour in village Bangal Khan Mugheri area near Kamber city. The accused fled after swift operation.
The body was shifted to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities. The case could not be registered yet. SHO says if the heirs of the deceased do not lodge the case, then an FIR will be lodged against the accused on the complaint of the government.
