QUETTA: Government Teachers Association (Aaeeni), Balochistan, has called upon the authorities to approve the summary initiated by Education Department for up-gradation of Junior Teachers and grant 40% disparity allowance to teachers of Balochistan province.

These demands were made in the protest demonstration held outside Quetta Press Club on Wednesday under the aegis of Government Teachers Association (Aaeeni), Balochistan.

Addressing the protest demonstration, speakers said that a summary for approval of the competent authority was initiated by the Secondary Education Department, Government of Balochistan to upgrade Junior Teachers of the province, but the said summary had been pending in Law and Parliamentary Affairs Department, Government of Balochistan since January 2022.

They said that teachers of all the sister provinces had been drawing forty percent disparity allowance, but teachers of Balochistan had been deprived of the mentioned allowance.

They called upon the authorities to approve the summary initiated by Education Department for up-gradation of Junior Teachers and grant forty percent disparity allowance to teachers of Balochistan province. Protest demonstration was addressed by Haji Mujeebullah Gharsheen, Chairman, Government Teachers Association (Aaeeni), Balochistan and others.
