Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Syed Tariq Fatemi engaged in significant discussions with key leaders of the US Congress, emphasizing the enhancement of Pak-US bilateral cooperation and economic relations.
Fatemi met with Brian Mast, Chairman of the US Congressional Committee on Foreign Affairs, Sydney Kamlager-Dove, Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on South and Central Asia, and Co-Chairmen of the Pakistan Caucus, Jack Bergman and Tom Suozzi.
Fatemi briefed the US leaders on the Pakistani government’s policies, with a focus on economic priorities. Highlighting the government’s commitment, he stressed that advancing bilateral relations, particularly in trade, economy, and investment, is a top priority.
The discussions also covered regional and international issues, reflecting a shared interest in strengthening ties between the two nations.
