PESHAWAR:A suicide blast occurred near a Frontier Constabulary (FC) vehicle in the area of Hayatabad in Peshawar on Tuesday, injuring eight people. According to, at least eight people were injured in the Hayatabad suicide blast. Panic gripped the area soon after the blast.

SP Peshawar Cantt Waqas Rafiq has confirmed that it was a suicide blast which took place near the vehicle of the security forces. Rescue 1122 teams reached the spot and shifted injured people to the Hayat Medical Complex. The report said the health condition of two injured people was critical in the hospital. The teams of the Bomb Disposal department and firefighters have also reached the spot and started the operation. Further investigation into the incident was underway, said police.
