Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said a strategy is being formulated to enhance Pakistan’s exports to 100 billion dollars.

Addressing a ceremony here in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said Pakistan has immense potential in information technology, mining, blue economy, creative industries, and other sectors.

The Minister said the private sector has a pivotal role in government’s efforts for economic development. Commerce Minister Jam Kamal also spoke on the occasion.

He said country’s economy is improving which is evident from the fact that inflation and interest rate have declined, while other economic indicators are progressing.
