The Pakistan Stock Exchange experienced a day of mixed results today, with minor gains in key indices, while others saw declines.
The KSE30 index inched up to 36,346.67, marking an increase of 50.36 points, or 0.14%, from the previous session. Similarly, the KSE100 index rose to 117,806.75, adding 34.43 points, a 0.03% gain, while the KSEALLSHR index increased by 51.70 points to reach 73,340.42, reflecting a 0.07% rise.
Meanwhile, the KMI30 index fell to 183,106.29, down by 52.22 points, or 0.03%, and the KMIALLSHR index decreased by 58.37 points to 51,537.89, translating to a 0.11% drop. The BKTI index showed a notable increase, climbing by 250.49 points to 25,997.05, representing a 0.97% gain. Conversely, the OGTI index declined by 134.66 points to 30,222.70, a 0.44% decrease.
Market turnover was recorded at 329,990,527 shares in the regular market, down from the previous session’s 356,729,109 shares. The traded value stood at 19,775,367,582, significantly lower than the previous figure of 37,498,298,382. Market capitalization saw a slight increase, reaching 14,374,200,085,459 from the prior 14,364,012,708,044.
In the futures market, turnover also declined to 397,385,500 shares from 433,669,000 shares, with a traded value of 19,893,509,365 compared to the previous 28,649,334,635.
