Steps afoot to provide standard health facilities: Rubaba

QUETTA: Parliamentary Secretary for Health, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi has said that measures were being taken to provide standard healthcare facilities to the people and for the purpose concrete reforms were being introduced in health sector of the province.

These views were expressed by her while talking to media after handing over of Central Sterilization Department (CSSD) equipments and Ambulance donated by World Health Organization (WHO) to Bolan Medical Complex Hospital, Quetta here on Wednesday. It is worth mentioning that due to the personal efforts of Dr. Noorullah Musakhail, Medical Superintendent, Bolan Medical Complex Hospital, Quetta, WHO handed over Central Sterilisation Service Department (CSSD) equipments and one Ambulance to Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi, Parliamentary Secretary for Health and Dr. Noorullah Musakhail, Medical Superintendent, Bolan Medical Complex Hospital, Quetta in a function held at BMCH, Quetta.

Speaking on the occasion, Buledi said that steps were being taken to bring improvement in health sector of the province in accordance with the vision of Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan. Appreciating the assistance of WHO, she said that assistance of WHO would prove to be beneficial in achieving the target for providing healthcare facilities to the people.

Dr. Noorullah Musakhail, MS, BMCH, Quetta said it was being strived to restore the old status of Bolan Medical Complex Hospital, Quetta, adding that different wards and departments of the hospitals were being visited to review healthcare facilities being provided to the patients, management and cleanliness situation. He said that he was personally supervising all the affairs of the hospital so that healthcare facilities could be provided to the patients. On the occasion, Dr. Asfand Yar Sherani of WHO was also present.
