The Punjab Cabinet Standing Committee on Finance and Development decides in principle to give special packages to the families of the public sector employees who died during service.

The approval was given in the 7th meeting of the committee under the chairmanship of Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi in Lahore on Monday.

The committee ordered to pay relief amount to families of deceased employees within ten days.

The approval of the program to restore the historic gates of Lahore to their original condition and funds for up-gradation of Lahore Zoo were also given in the meeting.

The cabinet meeting ordered the release of funds for the renovation and decoration of Baba Fariduddin Ganj Shukar’s shrine.

In-principle approval of Solarization of Agricultural Tube Wells in Punjab under Prime Minister National Programme was also given in the meeting.
