The Special Committee on constitutional amendment has unanimously approved draft of the amendment.

This was stated by PMLN leader Senator Ifran Siddiqui, while talking to the media in Islamabad this evening.

Senator Irfan Siddiqui said the draft was approved by all the parties, including the JUIF and the PTI, as no party tendered any dissenting note.

He said it is a major development and now this draft will be presented before the Federal Cabinet for approval, after which it will be tabled in the Parliament.
