Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Haroon Akhtar visited the Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation on Tuesday to discuss key projects and performance metrics.

During the visit, Akhtar received a comprehensive briefing from the CEO of PIDC, which highlighted the corporation’s various initiatives and their progress. Central to the discussions was the master plan for the Karachi Industrial Park, aimed at enhancing industrial growth and economic activity in the region.

The meeting also deliberated on the land lease policy for the Bin Qasim Industrial Park. This policy is crucial for attracting foreign investment and ensuring the sustainable development of the park.

Another key topic was the establishment of a custom-bonded warehouse. This facility will streamline import and export processes, significantly boosting trade efficiency.

These discussions underscore the government’s commitment to industrial development and economic progress, paving the way for future advancements in Pakistan’s industrial landscape.
