Speakers at a one-day training and consulting session titled“Covid019 Vaccine Related Media Monitoring Assessment on Adverse Events Following Immunization (AEFI)” discussed ways and means to discourage the dissemination of fake news, disinformation and misinformation to keep the society abreast of truth and reality.
The session was organized by World Health Organization (WHO) in consultation with CHIP Training and Consulting Private Limited in Karachi on Monday.
The objective of the event is to understand the mechanism of identifying rumours, narratives and queries that have been used to validate the reporting on the Covid19 pandemic, vaccines and their side effects.
Journalists, experts of health and others attended the workshop and expressed their views and shared their ideas.
