BHIMBER: A Software Technology Park has been inaugurated in Bhimber, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, marking a significant development in the region’s information technology landscape. The initiative was realized through the collaboration of the Special Communication Organization, with the aim of transforming Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan into a region integrated with IT advancements.
According to Radio Pakistan, the establishment of the Software Technology Park aligns with SCO’s vision of empowering youth by creating a sustainable IT environment in the area. This project is part of a larger plan to develop a network of fifty Software Technology Parks and Freelancing Hubs across Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The Bhimber facility is the twenty-first project under this ambitious initiative.
