Smog to persist in upper Sindh, plain areas of Punjab and KP

ISLAMABAD:,,, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said on Saturday that during the next 24 hours, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while partly cloudy in northern districts. Smog/fog is likely to persist in upper Sindh, plain areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during night hours.

Past 24 Hour Weather: Cold and dry weather prevailed in most parts of the country. Today\’s Recorded Lowest Minimum Temperatures (°C): Leh -10, Skardu -08, Srinagar -05, Astore, Kalam -04, Gilgit -03, Kalat and Quetta -02.

Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A shallow westerly wave is present over Northern parts of the country.
