LARKANA: A six-year boy was electrocuted in Qasimabad locality of the town on Tuesday.

According to a report, a little boy, Nadir, son of Zahid Shaikh, was playing at his home when he was caught by a live TV cable following which he was fainted. His family members rushed him to a government hospital where duty doctors pronounced him brought dead.

The deceased boy’s father told newsmen that TV cables had been tied with electric poles in the entire town illegally which had electricity. He said his son was a minor and he tried to operate the TV with the cable when he was suddenly caught by the electricity following which he died instantly. He demanded removal of all TV cables from electricity poles so that no more innocent child die in the future.
