Six picnickers from Punjab, including a customs clearing agent, were kidnapped at gunpoint by unidentified armed men from Shaban, a tourist resort of Koh-e-Zarghoon, a suberb area of Quetta, on Thursday.
According to sources, unidentified gunmen appeared at a picnic point at Shaban, a suburb area of Quetta. After checking Computerised National Identity Cards, 14 picnickers were taken away, however, eight other were later released at some distance while six picnickers were kidnapped to unknown destination, including a customs clearing agent.
The incident has created panic in the area and fear among the relatives. The authorities have started search for the kidnapped person.
