Speaker Punjab Assembly Muhammad Sibtain Khan has constituted a six-member committee to nominate Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab.

The members of the committee include Mian Aslam Iqbal, Basharat Raja, Makdhoom Hashim Jawan Bakht, Malik Ahmed Khan, Syed Hassan Murtaza and Malik Nadeem Kamran.

The committee will finalize within three days name of the Caretaker Chief Minister from the nominees forwarded by the Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi and former Opposition leader Hamza Shahbaz Sharif.
