SHANGLA: A suicide bomb blast was reported from Karakoram highway in Bisham, resulting in the death of six individuals, police said Tuesday.

District Inspector General (DIG) of Malakand told media that the authorities have taken control of the area, with law enforcement agencies swiftly responding to the situation.

The rescue officials shifted the bodies and injured in the blast to the nearest hospital for immediate medical assistance.

According to the DIG Malakand, the initial investigations suggest that the nature of the blast was a suicide attack.

The incident occurred as a convoy traveling from Islamabad to Shangla came under attack.
