Against the backdrop of escalating tensions in the Middle East, former chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Siraj ul Haq, and Allama Jawad Naqvi visited the Iranian Embassy in Islamabad to express solidarity and emphasize the need for unity among Muslim countries. During their visit, they discussed with the Iranian ambassador the recent Israeli actions and their impact on the region.
Siraj ul Haq and Allama Jawad Naqvi expressed condolences for the recent losses, including the deaths of military personnel and nuclear scientists, which they referred to as acts of terrorism. They praised the resilience of the Iranian people despite the hardships and supported Iran’s right to maintain its nuclear program during the crisis.
Siraj ul Haq called for immediate and united action from the Muslim world. He emphasized the need to convene a meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
