In a heartfelt tribute on the International Day of Press Freedom, Syed Nisar Hussain Shah, the Provincial Minister for Energy and Planning, applauded the courage of journalists who have sacrificed their lives for truth.

He highlighted the proactive measures taken by the Sindh government, under the leadership of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, to enhance the welfare of media professionals.

Minister Shah emphasized the crucial role journalists play in unveiling and combating societal ills, stating that the Pakistan People’s Party-led administration in Sindh has fostered a secure and tranquil atmosphere for reporters to carry out their responsibilities fearlessly.

He called upon the media community to actively showcase the ongoing public welfare projects in the province, noting that many development initiatives in Sindh are poised for media endorsement.

Reassuring the journalist fraternity, Shah affirmed that the Sindh government remains committed to addressing their concerns and ensuring their well-being. The administration’s doors, he stressed, are always open for resolving issues faced by media personnel, reflecting the government’s dedication to supporting truth-tellers.
