Provincial Minister for Energy, Development and Planning Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said that the Sindh government will fully cooperate with the local bodies in making Karachi an encroachment-free, clean and beautiful city. Minister Nasir Shah held a meeting regards the elimination of encroachments on the roads and green belts of Karachi city.
He said that encroachment of any kind will not be allowed at all, if any negligence is shown in the city, strict action will be taken against the concerned officers. He said that some people do not want to see the city beautiful and prosperous. Encroachment on any footpath, green belt, service road will not be allowed at all.
Nasir Shah said that some private offices have kept their generators on the footpath, CM Sindh is taking several steps to make Karachi city attractive. He added that the CM Sindh has given directs to the Mayor and Commissioner Karachi for the complete elimination of encroachments, DC and police will fully cooperate in removing these encroachments.
He said that the process of removing encroachments from Hyderabad, Sukkur, Mirpurkhas and other divisional headquarters will be accelerated, all parking plazas will be made functional. Minister Nasir Shah said that illegal parking or parking on the roads will not be allowed. He said that the Sindh Building Control Authority will take action against such builders, the city will be kept clean under a regular strategy.
Nasir Shah said that the town and cantonment boards should resolve the matter of their jurisdiction, the billboards will not be installed without the permission of the MC. He said that this city is ours, we will treat it with beauty and love. CM Sindh invited the leader of the Bohra community to visit Karachi next year.
