KARACHI:Former member of the Punjab Assembly (MPA) and former provincial minister Chaudhry Muhammad Akhlaq, who hails from Sialkot, met with veteran politician Jahangir Khan Tareen at his Lahore residence on Thursday and announced his decision to join newly formed ‘Istehkame Pakistan’ party, according to a report.

Speaking on the occasion, Tareen welcomed Akhlaq to the party.

Meanwhile, the design of flag of ‘Istehkam-e-Pakistan’ party has been finalized. The party’s motto is development and prosperity while its flag consists of three colours: green, white and red. It also has a crescent and a star on it.
