ISLAMABAD: An anti-terrorism court in Islamabad on Saturday extended the bail applications of AML chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed and Rashid Shafiq in the May 9 violence cases till November 25.
The bail hearing was conducted by ATC Judge Malik Ijaz Asif. Sheikh Rashid Ahmed talking to media outside the court said that today, in 23 cases, the government has requested for more time for preparation.
He said that the bails have been extended till November 25 and the trial will be held on November 25 here in the morning and in Islamabad in the afternoon.
Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench Justice Chaudhry Abdul Aziz has called for the records of all the supplementary cases, said Shiekh Rasheed.
In a week, the whole world will know how many cases are registered against us, 3 days before arrest I didn’t have a single case and not less than 68 cases have been registered against him till now, said Sheikh Rasheed.
