Sheikh Rashid says tug of war has started to select caretaker PM

RAWALPINDI:President Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rashid said Friday that the political theater will be over in next 20 days. Taking to Twitter, the seasoned politician said that Shehbaz Sharif became Prime Minister the day when he was supposed to be indicted. “The might is right is prevailing in Pakistan as Sharif has been exonerated from all the cases in just 15 months,” Rashid said. He added that the corruption of Rs500 million has been declared legitimate while no one asks about the corruption of Rs16 billion. According to senior politician, all the investigators of corruption cases have passed away. The AML President was of the view that the time is running out as only 20 days are left and therefore the incumbent rulers can make as many cases against the opponents as they can. “Every day is not Sunday,” the veteran politician said.

It is very good that Maulana Fazl ur Rehman will field his candidates from all the constituencies, he said and added that the PPP is not ready to share the burden of PML-N. “The PML-N is still afraid of going into polls and Shehbaz Sharif is stabbing in the back of Nawaz Sharif,” Rashid said. He also disclosed that Nawaz will not come to Pakistan in near future as he will go to London from Saudi Arabia.

“Only God knows when Nawaz Sharif will come back and under which circumstances,” Rashid said. According to Sheikh Rashid, three out of 13 parties of PDM alliance have applied for the election symbol in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). The remaining 10 parties have no political worth at all as they are required only to increase the number of allies psychologically. These 10 parties are binned after being used, Rashid said. He further revealed that there will be more increase in the prices of sugar and flour. The power tariff will also be increased while we’ll see raise in gas prices too, the senior politician said. The government’s nerves will be lost when the dollar will surge to over Rs300, said Rashid.

The seasoned politician also disclosed that a tug of war has been started to select the caretaker Prime Minister and the matter will become controversial. “The tug of war is in full swing between the politicians and economists to become the caretaker Prime Minister,” Rashid twitted.
