QUETTA:Bushra Rind, Parliamentary Secretary for Information, has said that Balochistan was targeted in the suicide attack occurred outside the University of Karachi, Confucius Institute.

Addressing a press conference here with other female parliamentarians of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) here on Thursday, she said that Shari Baloch, who carried out suicide attack, was a mental patient and that fact had also been confessed by her husband.

She said that foreign forces attacked Baloch and Balochistan, adding that Baloch could not do such act. She said, “Baloch women do not attack guests”. She said that a conspiracy was being hatched to push Baloch women towards backwardness, adding that pushing Baloch women towards backwardness would not be permitted.
