The two-day Shah Latif Children Festival reached its conclusion at the Sindh Museum in Hyderabad this evening [Sunday].
Over the course of the festival, a diverse array of activities unfolded, encompassing, tableaus, debate competitions, stage dramas, speech competitions, singing contests, calligraphy competitions, and cultural musical programs. The event also featured various cultural stalls, adding a vibrant touch to the festivities.
Participation in the festival was open to students from different schools across the Sindh Province, providing them with a platform to exhibit their talents and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the region.
The primary objective of the festival was to acquaint students with the poetry of Shah Abdul-Latif Bhittai while concurrently celebrating the cultural diversity inherent in Sindh.
The opening ceremony took place on Saturday, where Caretaker Sindh Minister for Information and Minorities Affairs, Syed Ahmed Shah, and Caretaker Culture Minister Junaid Shah jointly inaugurated the two-day Shah Latif Children Festival at the Sindh Museum.
The event was meticulously organized by the Sindhi Language Authority in Hyderabad.
