LAHORE:A servant has been found dead at a home in phase-V of the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) in Lahore, police said Wednesday.

Police said 60-year-old Khursheed was a cook, who was living alone in the house in the absence of its owners. They further said that when Munir Bhatti Advocate, the house owner, and his family returned, they found his body with a rope hanging from his neck.

The Force said that forensic teams had collected evidence from the site of the incident, while investigators had recorded statements of Khurshid’s family members and were looking at the incident from different angles. Police informed that CCTV cameras installed in and around the house were also being examined in order to get any footage that could shed light on the incident.
