ISLAMABAD:The Senate on Monday unanimously passed a resolution terming the 5th August a black day when the BJP government abrogated Article 35-A of the Indian constitution to take away autonomy of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

The House rejected Indian Illegal actions of 5th August 2019 which was direct violation of the UNSC resolution and aimed at changing demographic structure.

The House also passed “The Civil Servants (Amendment) Bill, 2023”, “The Criminal Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2023”, “The Federal Ziauddin University Bill, 2023” and “The Protection of Family Life and Wedlock Bill, 2023, “The Federal Public Service Commission (Amendment) Bill, 2023”, and “The Prime University of Nursing, Sciences and Technology (PUNST) Islamabad Bill, 2022.

Earlier, several bills were introduced in the House.
