A Seminar was held at the Pakistan High Commission Pretoria, South Africa to observe Youm-e-Istehsal on Friday, marking India’s illegal action of revoking the special status of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu Kashmir, this day in 2019.

Intellectuals, academia, diplomats, journalists and Kashmir activists attended the event.

The Speakers at the seminar condemned India’s illegal actions and atrocities committed by its forces in the illegally occupied territory.

They urged an early resolution of the Jammu Kashmir dispute in accordance with the wishes of the Kashmiri people and relevant UN Security Council Resolutions.

They paid rich tributes to the martyrs of Kashmir, their freedom struggle and reaffirmed their unwavering support to the just cause of the people of the Jammu and Kashmir.

In his remarks, Pakistani High Commissioner Mazhar Jawed highlighted the illegal nature of India’s action of 5 August 2019 and exposed India’s malicious campaign of demographic change in the territory.
