Islamabad:Saudi Charg© d'Affaires to Pakistan, Naif Bin Mlafakh, has reiterated Saudi Arabia's dedication to enhancing its longstanding strategic partnership with Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, Naif Bin Mlafakh spoke at a reception in Islamabad celebrating the 96th National Day of Saudi Arabia. He emphasized the shared commitment of both nations to promoting security, stability, and prosperity.

The event was attended by notable figures including National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, federal ministers, parliamentarians, diplomats, religious scholars, and media representatives. Naif Bin Mlafakh extended greetings from the Saudi Embassy to King Salman, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and the Saudi people.

He highlighted that the National Day is not just a historical commemoration but a reflection on the Kingdom's journey of nation-building and modernization, particularly under the Saudi Vision 2030 program. This initiative aims to diversify the economy and elevate Saudi Arabia's global standing.

Naif Bin Mlafakh stressed the strong ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, grounded in history and mutual adaptability to global changes. He described both nations as brotherly countries, working together towards a strategic partnership based on political understanding and regional peace.

The Saudi Charg© d'Affaires mentioned the Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement signed in 2025, which has added a new dimension to their bilateral relationship. He also noted the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement with Turkiye, highlighting its role in enhancing security and regional stability.
