Saudi Arabia provides 100 tons of dates to Pakistan as a gift

ISLAMABAD: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Monday provided 100 tons of dates to the Government of Pakistan as a gift.

On behalf of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mr Nawaf bin Said Al-Maliki, Ambassador to Pakistan, formally handed over the consignment to Brigadier Obaid Ullah Anwar, Director General Military Wing, Cabinet Division, Islamabad on Monday in a ceremony held at the Saudi Embassy, Diplomatic Enclave, Islamabad.

On behalf of the Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Division expressed sincere thanks and gratitude for this kind gesture on the part of the Pakistan for their Saudi brethren for their love and affection and also expressed the hope that the warm and cordial relations between the two brotherly states will continue to flourish in times to come as well, according to a press release.
