Sariab Road Quetta was blocked on Thursday by the the students of Government Degree College Quetta in protest over 70 percent increase in the head of educational fees, causing long queues of vehicles moving between Quetta and Chaman.

According to reports, enraged students of Government Degree College Quetta blocked Quetta-Karachi highway near Government Degree College area of Sariab road against 70 percent increase in the head of fees for admission in educational institutions. Long queues of vehicles were seen stuck on Quetta-Karachi highway.

Talking to PPI, protesters said that most of the students in government colleges came from poor families and it was not possible for them to shoulder huge educational expenses. Quetta-Karachi highway remained blocked till filing this report.
