Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has praised the national security personnel for killing 18 alleged “Indian-backed terrorists” during recent counter-terrorism operations.

In an official statement on Monday, the Chief Minister paid tribute to the law enforcement agencies, saying, “Salute to the brave soldiers of security who protect the public by putting their lives at risk.”

She acknowledged the ongoing efforts of the forces for the “protection of the country and the nation” and expressed solidarity and prayed for their further success.
