CHAGAI: Protest of the employees of Saindak Copper and Gold Company against COVID-19 restrictions continued on Sunday for the second consecutive day in Saindak area of district Chagai in Balochistan province.

Local women and children staged a sit-in outside the entry gate near Killi Sarwar while employees of Saindak Copper and Gold Company protested outside the administration block of Saindak Copper and Gold Company, demanding authorities of Saindak Copper and Gold Company to lift restrictions imposed on employees to stop the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. Assistant Commissioner, Taftan tried to persuade the protestors to call off protest, however, he failed to do so. Protesters announced to continue protest till the Chinese authorities accede to the demands of protesting employees.
