Russia Desires Strong Relations with Pakistan: Tessori

Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori has said that Russia seeks strong and enduring relations with Pakistan and is willing to demonstrate its friendship, especially given the current economic circumstances.

According to a statement issued from Sindh Governor House today, he shared these sentiments during his meeting with the Russian Ambassador, Albert Khorev, at the Governor’s House.

Upon Ambassador Khorev’s arrival, he was welcomed with a guard of honor. Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori and the Russian Ambassador also participated in a flag-hoisting ceremony, with representatives from the Russian Consulate in attendance. The ambassador penned his remarks in the guestbook and toured the Quaid-e-Azam Gallery with the Governor.

During their conversation with the media, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori expressed optimism, stating that his detailed discussion with the Russian Ambassador would further strengthen the Pakistan-Russia friendship and expand bilateral trade. He emphasized the positive relations between Russia and Pakistan and extended an invitation for investment in Sindh.

The ambassador was served Karachi’s famous burger and matka chai, and at the end of the visit, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori presented honorary caps and shawls to both the ambassador and the Consul General. As part of the tree-planting campaign, the Russian Ambassador also planted a sapling at the Governor’s House.
