Rs35b allocated for filter clinics to eliminate Hepatitis-C: PM

ISLAMABAD:Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said the federal government has allocated thirty five billion rupees for establishment of filter clinics to eliminate the Hepatitis-C under a comprehensive nationwide program. In a tweet on Monday, he said additionally, an endowment fund of fifteen billion rupees has also been set up whose proceeds will be used for the provision of free treatment to the poor.

The Prime Minister said he has laid the foundation stone of PKLI University which will serve as a hub of knowledge creation, research and innovation. He said together we will make PKLI pride of the nation.
